THE AGENTS OF PSYENCE
Introduction:
The Psyence Agency is a private organisation dedicated to the protection of reality. UN sanctioned, its funding comes from its independently wealthy founder - Sebastian Hayward - in a pact with a mysterious advisor called Mister October. Together they have recruited a decidedly mixed set of agents, experts from the worlds of covert action and the occult.
Psyence itself is a process based on a scientific understanding of numerous mystical systems. It lifts from other belief systems as required.
However since the Psyence Agency does not have unlimited resources, it takes on jobs from private individuals as well. From haunted houses to threats to the entire world and the dimensions beyond. Strange creatures stalking the urban jungle, secret societies in the echelons of power, the Agents of Psyence are there to take them on, as long as they can learn to trust each other too.
A mysterious train has infiltrated the London Underground system, kidnapping customers who never return. The Psyence Agency sends in its top agents to investigate where on Earth the train is taking these unwilling passengers. That is, of course, assuming it is on Earth! Can the agents survive long enough to complete the mission or will their own secrets destroy them from within?

The Mission: Martyn Lieberman, the son of a US embassy attaché is attacked and apparently stolen by a wolf. The Agency are brought in reluctantly and soon discover evidence of an ancient colony living secretly in London. But this is just the beginning of the terror, when a third force arrives with its own agenda of extermination.

History
"Agents of Psyence" began life in the pages of a small press anthology called "Defective Comics", edited by Rik Hoskin. A few years later it was launched in its own comic title "Psyence Fiction" but sadly, the comic was cancelled after issue two. Before then however, Rik Hoskin had met Gareth Preston, who was producing Doctor Who fan audios and the pair decided that an audio version of the series would be a rather cool idea.
