 The Profit of Doom
Mortally wounded after an encounter with the Daleks, the Doctor is forced to regenerate. Crash landing on Earth, he finds himself quickly embroiled in the mystery of strange lights over Essex Marshes, the disappearance of Monica Fallows brilliant computer scientist brother and the sinister infiltration of the British establishment by a secret cult thought eradicated over four hundred years before.
Once again in the post of UNIT’s unpaid scientific adviser, the Doctor must unravel the threads of a web of intrigue, betrayal and murder that surrounds the most hideous trading operation in the history of the galaxy. |

What is the link between the Paupers Hospital of the 1950’s and the Paupers of the 1700’s? How did the foul alchemist Samuel Hewer escape his own murder? And will the Doctor’s oldest friend desert him in the maelstrom of real space, occult force and raw time?

 The Stockbridge Terror
Stockbridge. Rural idyll or stalking ground for a psychotic serial killer? The police are on the trail of a kidnapper who has murdered once and whom they believe will kill again.
"Mad" Max Edison knows the police are barking up the wrong year. But since the police consider him to be the walking embodiment of a credibility bypass, he doesn’t know how to make them listen.
And what of the Doctor? Shot at, suspected of murder and attacked by a fifteen-foot wall of sentient mud, he’s got enough of his own problems to be getting on with. Not least of which is the disappearance of Monica and the very real chance that she might not survive another encounter with a voracious carnivore. |
