INSIGHT
What Animals do you hate?
Spiders and snakes. Plus anything that slithers or scuttles.
Which Hartnell era monster do you most aspire to?
Does Mavic Chen count? Head lad of the Solar System, that's my kind of job.
Coffee or chocolate?
Chocolate, no question.
Ideal job?
Writing Dr Who, either TV, audio or books, I'm not that fussy.
Have you invaded Poland?
No, but I'm considering it.
Is fast food evil?
Not at all, there is nothing quite like a chicken royale with cheese when you're in the mood.
Have you ever been accused of a crime of fashion?
Only by myself! Once had this pair of really tight jeans...
Have you seen anything supernatural and / or been kidnapped by aliens?
Unexplained ghostly phenomena, on more than one occasion. Plus a strange light in the sky once, that vanished in the blink of an eye.
What is your cure for writers block?
Wait it out. That's all I can do.
What's the worst fan fiction you have ever written?
Empress of Evil, a little 2nd Doctor story hidden away somewhere at Timelord.
Of all that's archived on Timelord and RF, what's the thing you're proudest of contributing?
For SF's, a story called The Hand of Davros. For RF's, my contributions to the 5th Doctor story Hellmouth, the 7th Doctor tale The Bridge House, and I'm also quite proud of my finale for Wings
Over Colleth, a great collaborative story.
What happened in the year you were fourteen?
To me, not much. My favourite teacher died in the summer holidays. In Who, Tom was hunting the Key to Time and in the world, Ally's Tartan Army were heading out for glory in Argentina for World Cup '78!
If you could be any age again, what would it be?
If I could keep my current knowledge, then probably 20. Trust me, things would be much different!
If you could visit any moment in history what would it be?
April 1912, just to walk on the deck of the Titanic. So long as I had a route off again, of course!
What crossover story should never be made... ever?
Probably something I've already written!!! Doctor Who meets And & Dec has the cringe factor though.
If you ruled the world, who would be first against the wall?
First choice, nobody you know. Second choice, Michael Grade (I don't bear a grudge!). Third choice, Peter Ridsdale, for dereliction of duty!
What would your entry in the Encyclopaedia Galactica say about you?
He made a difference. That's what I'd like it to say, anyway.
Borg or Cybermen?
Cybermen, but I think they need a new twist for the 21st Century. And a redesign!
If you were a Doctor Who Title which one would you be?
Mark of the Rani? LOL
Should any Twin Peaks fans who survived the purge be arrested?
No, otherwise I would be in prison!
Which missing Who story would you most like to be refound?
Evil of the Daleks. Or The Abominable Snowmen. Or...
Who would play you in a cheap BBC drama about your life?
Peter Davison, to whom I have a very passing resemblance!
Computer games?
Championship Manager, whichever the current edition is. Got the first three Tomb Raiders, but no time to play them.
What would you like on your epitaph?
As above. "He made a difference."
PG or 18?
Not PG, I prefer Tetley Tea.
Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori?
Sorry, our school never did Latin!
Have you ever been, or are you now, a member of a Communist organisation?
Not yet!
What is the best word?
"Hope"
When did you first get involved with this online group?
January 2000. I missed the Moky crisis but have been involved in a few skirmishes since.
Half-empty or half-full?
Depends on my mood really.

Forbidden Planet,
The Day the Earth Stood Still,
Roxanne
Least favourite film
Don't know. If I'm not enjoying a film, I turn off.
What's the best other TV show?
Sapphire and Steel, Blake's 7, Star Trek <ducks>
Favourite piece of music
"Summertime", preferably sung solo by soprano rather than as a duet. (Nicked this from Kenny's profile, because I agree with it. I worked this song into a story idea once, sung by Benny Summerfield accompanied by Glenn Miller on Trombone and the Doctor on the spoons!)
Otherwise, The Power of Love, by Huey Lewis and the News
What's the best sport?
Football. Though you wouldn't know that, as I follow the (mis)fortunes of Leeds United!
Favourite kiddies programmes when you were young
Blue Peter (with Val, John, Peter and Lesley when I was a lad), Swap Shop (I was in love with Maggie Philbin) and cartoon series like Wacky Races and of course Scooby Doo. Plus a little Saturday teatime show called Doctor Who.
